Current Work

This initiative documented diverse wildlife; including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, to identify species of conservation importance. By assessing habitats and endemic Mentawai primate distribution, the project established vital baseline data for future conservation and ecotourism efforts.

Wildlife
Biodiversity

Building on our previous initiatives, this time we aim to reach a broader audience in their daily lives, beyond just visiting schools. We seek to educate through community engagement by becoming an integral part of their lives.

Conservation
Education

We are documenting local agroforestry systems and the diversity of food crops, agricultural crops, and plantation crops cultivated by local communities to identify more economically viable land-use options without clearing additional forest areas.

Agroforestry
& Livelihood

This involves capturing traditional ecological knowledge that is alive within communities regarding the use of their natural resources and cultural heritage, in order to determine the direction of conservation education that is relevant to local conditions.
